With Tampa cruise hotels that offer parking for guests, you can save some serious cash on your vacation.
Parking at the Port of Tampa, while relatively affordable compared to other ports, can still cost a significant amount. The official port lots are extremely convenient (right across from the terminal), but costs around $17 per day. That means when you park for a week-long cruise, you have a $120 bill just for leaving your car.
Independent parking lots near the port help take out some of the sticker shock. We’ve found rates as low as $11 per day with some lots. However, there is a way to save even more on your Tampa cruise parking.
There are a number of hotels near the port that cater to cruise passengers. In order to attract your business, they offer up perks such as free parking with a one-night stay or “Park & Cruise” packages that offer discounted parking rates.
To be sure, if you don’t plan to stay in Tampa anyway, then you won’t be saving money by selecting one of these hotels; it’s cheaper to skip a hotel and just pay for parking. However, Tampa has a lot to explore, especially near the downtown/port area and Ybor City. If you plan to book a hotel for before your cruise, then you’ll likely save a chunk of money using one of the hotels below.

We used the Days Inn at I75 and it was clean rooms and good breakfast with shuttle to and from (free) and unlimited days of parking (free).
These hotels still CHARGE you for parking? Ridiculous. I’ve gone to many hotels where parking and shuttle to and back are included with your stay. This is no deal at all.
The Barrymore hotel comes to a little over $200 after taxes and fees. I am not sure any of these are worth it.
You did not mention Port Canaveral with hotel and parking. We will be leaving out of Port Canaveral next year. We are driving down and will be staying the night before our cruise.
Can you suggest some places to stay in Port Canaveral?
Thanks
