If you’re searching for a Miami Beach or South Beach hotel with free parking, then you’re no doubt looking pretty hard. The truth is that this area of the beach is one of the most-developed spots in all of Florida. That means there are lots of hotels, lots of restaurants, lots of people… and little parking.
It’s not unusual to see parking rates at many hotels as high as $40 per night. That means a simple three-night stay costs you an extra $120 just in parking fees alone. Needless to say, if you can avoid those parking fees, then you can save a considerable chunk of cash.
The problem is that very few hotels in Miami Beach and the South Beach area offer free parking. In fact, after hours of searching, we found only a handful.
That’s why we highly suggest using alternate transportation if you plan to stay in the area. Not only is it cheaper not having to park, but you also don’t have to worry about the stress of driving around a highly populated area.
Of course, that’s not an option for everyone. For those that absolutely have to drive, there are a number of hotels in the Miami region that will offer plenty of parking… they just aren’t at the highly desirable oceanfront.
In fact, if you have to drive into the area and want free parking while staying at a hotel in the Miami Beach area, then we found a few choices for you to check out. This shouldn’t be considered an exhaustive list (although we checked dozens of hotels), but it should give you an idea of some options available.
Before you book we suggest giving the hotel a call to ensure that free parking is still available. Given the lucrative fees other hotels are charging, it can be tempting for some places to start charging for the perk.

Best of all, Beach Place proudly boasts its one of the few Miami Beach hotels to offer guests free parking.

While still in Miami Beach, this hotel is actually on the waterfront on the bay side, which looks out over Miami proper. It’s an older hotel, but has great views of the water. The International Inn offers a ton of freebies, including pool and game room, local calls and of course, free parking for guests who stay at the hotel.
